		<description>About Thoughtput
Thoughtput is a web design practice based in Pune and led by Hamsa Ganesh, focused on building long-lasting digital properties for cultural, academic, and public-interest institutions.

How we see websites:In the contemporary internet landscape, a website is one node in a larger digital ecosystem. This ecosystem might include multiple social media accounts, accounts on utility platforms, and presence on third-party publishing platforms. Of this varied digital footprint, the website is the only digital property an organisation reliably ‘ownsʼ – it holds the right to that domain on the internet. Other platforms are of unforeseeable longevity—Twitterʼs overhaul into X saw a massive drop-off in users and consequently, relevance; TikTok was briefly thriving in India before it was banned. This makes the website the organisationʼs only durable digital ambassador.
Increasingly, the website also serves as the primary source from which AI systems access, interpret, and surface information about an organisation. Well-structured, clearly authored, and consistently maintained websites are more likely to be accurately represented in AI-driven interfaces, search, and discovery. In this sense, a website is no longer just a destination for human users, but a foundation for how an organisation is understood by machines.

At Thoughtput, we take a holistic approach to web design and development, grounded in our core strengths. We live by the philosophy of ‘form follows functionʼ – cultivating a deep understanding of the organization, its audiences, and objectives to deliver a bespoke design solution that addresses not just immediate needs but is also adaptable to future ones. We believe in harnessing the power of data, recognizing its true value to be in informed synthesis, not mere statistics. We strive to create exceptional front-end user experiences supported by a responsive, modular and visually distinctive design system.

Thoughtput’s work focuses on helping institutions build durable digital foundations that preserve the integrity, authorship, and meaning of their knowledge in the age of AI.&#38;nbsp;
